Beets

Just pulled these from my veggie patch, my best ever beetroots. Hmmm now what to do with them? Better start googling. Do you have a tried & true beetroot recipe? Let me know it.

Lightly steamed and sliced a little yoghurt pepper and salt lovely salad

They look gorgeous! I love them roasted then cold in a salad.

Thanks Renee, in a salad is how I had them for lunch.
Roasted up in a syrup of orange juice, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar & olive oil. Foil over the top of tray roasted @ 220 for 50mins. Sensational!

Oh wow! We are only just putting ours in!
I can't go past fresh ones from the garden just grated in a salad - too tasty :)
