sweet lime, sunfrocks & sunsets

Dresses waiting to be completed.

My little sunfrocks are totally made from upcycled fabrics & they have been selling really well of late , so I had better get a wriggle on to get these babies finished. I retail them at a fab local store named Mooch Inside which stocks gorgeous art, lifestyle items & super spunky fashion. Mooch inside is very soon to get their online shop up & running ..Yippeee!!

Sweet limes from our garden.
It has been a great year for citrus fruit...washington navels, valencias & blood oranges. We also had loads of mandarins & these Tahitian limes all picked from the trees in our back garden....Mojito anyone??

My corner view at sundown.
This is the view at the end of my street. I snapped this shot at sundown about a week ago when walking home around the Bay, I disturbed the three pelicans who were eating scraps of fish left behind by local fishermen & they took off across the water. Ahhh serenity, I love living here!

Those dresses look beautiful. I am so envious that you have pelicans right outside your window. I think they are just beautiful!

love limes... in Mexico we put the in almost everywhere... I have a funny story with limes... once we had a gathering at home to see the Mexico team play in the world cup (just recently) I noticed I ran out of limes and we were going to have beer (coronas) and chips etc... so I called one of the girls who was coming and ask her to please bring me some limes... she brought 3!!!!! (OH MY) Lesson 1 in Mexican culture. If someone asks you to bring limes bring 20 or more!!!! :) I would love to have my own lemon tree to fulfill my Mexican need for limes!!!

thanks for visiting! :)

What a contrast Pelicans at the bottom of your garden, we have fields which stink of poo as they're what is delicately called muck spreading - phew.

I wanted to email you to thank you for your lovely comments, but couldn't find an address so here I am instead. In the main I'm a pretty good mum, but I have no patience and when they chuck chess sets at each others heads (like they did today) I could murder them, but I just yell a lot instead - less messy than murder.

Now those dresses are just gorgeous, I'd like one as a top for me, don't know about the kids.

Best wishes
